School

AEROSPORT flight training operates in northern Alberta near the town of Peace River. The flight school is based off a grass strip shown in the attached picture. The Peace River Airport is only 12 miles away and makes a great airport for practicing circuits with traffic, asphalt and radio work. Numerous other strips including grass strips are a short distance away. Operating in conjunction with Peace River Cabins and Outdoors allows for out-of-town students to make arrangements for accommodation including parking their RV. The long daylight hours in the summer makes for a great training environment with early mornings or late evening flights possible. Facilities for pre flight ground-school and post flight debriefing add to the success of students.

From corners of the world students have travelled for their Ultralight Permit or the Ultralight Permit with passenger carrying endorsement. Some have taken instruction just to the point of going solo. Leaving with an ear-to-ear smile and able to checked ‘Flew an airplane solo’ off their bucket list.
